Alex Weir is an American guitarist, who has worked with both Talking Heads and the Tom Tom Club on their albums, and in concert. He appears in the critically praised 1984 concert film, Stop Making Sense. Prior to this he worked with The Brothers Johnson, with whom he is a cousin. Weir has contributed to sessions with a variety of artists, including Toni Childs and Jerry Harrison.
